If you or someone you know is good with tools and would like to learn how to repair wheelchairs, mark June 25 and July 23 on your calendars. Volunteers Tim and Emily Tew will teach basic wheelchair repair and maintenance start at 9a.m. at Mason Engineering, 5720 Huguenard Rd., Fort Wayne.
We have several wheelchairs in need of repair.
Also, we are going to build a tool chest for wheelchair repairs and need to collect the following:

T-handle allen SAE wrench set

T-handle allen metric wrench set

Rubber mallet
-
Large vise (6” wide surface area, 6” minimum opening

Pliers
-
Screw extractors

Ball point hammer

Adjustable wrench

Socket set with multiple size sockets

Tire tools

Various size screwdrivers: Phillips, flat and Torx
