Agape Mobility Ethiopia and 20 volunteers from a partner congregation in Sioux Falls, SD, will embark on a very special mission in March 2026 – the distribution of 220 pediatric wheelchairs to children across Ethiopia. These chairs, a generous gift from Central Church, will bring new freedom and joy to young lives where the need is great and resources are scarce.

Volunteers from Central Church and Cure International hospital help fit a wheelchair for a young boy in Ethiopia.
Pediatric wheelchairs are especially hard to come by in Ethiopia, yet they make an enormous difference. With the right chair, a child who once had to be carried or left at home can now attend school, play with friends, and be part of their community in a whole new way. For parents and caregivers, it means both relief and renewed hope for their child’s future.
The volunteer team will include physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, and pastors – who are giving their time and hearts to make sure each chair is fitted with care. Every child will receive not just equipment, but a chair tailored to their needs, along with encouragement, prayer, and expressions of God’s love from the team.
We are deeply thankful for the generosity of Central Church in Sioux Falls, and for each volunteer who will travel to serve.
