Hope Restored in the Gift of a Wheelchair
At 27, she held a master’s degree in Business Management and was thriving in her career at Awash Bank. She had dreams of supporting her family and serving her community in Lakmet Welga, Ethiopia. But after a sudden fall left her disabled, everything came crashing down.
For two years, Elsa lived without a wheelchair. Two years of watching opportunities slip away. Two years of sitting at home, unable to work, unable to move freely, unable to live the life she had built.
In Ethiopia, wheelchairs are scarce and costly. Without one, people face not only the physical challenges of disability, but also isolation and rejection.
Then, Elsa received a wheelchair from Agape Mobility Ethiopia—and everything changed. Today, she is rebuilding her life with independence, dignity, and hope.
Right now, many more people like Elsa are still waiting. The wheelchairs are ready, but we urgently need funds to ship them.
