Like Steven, do you have a wheelchair to donate? Meet us at Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities on Tuesday, March 3, between 10AM and 2PM and give your unused wheelchair new purpose.
This week, as we celebrate International Wheelchair Day, we’re collaborating with our friends from Turnstone for a very special way to begin Disabilities Awareness Month. Volunteers will be available to receive wheelchairs in any condition from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We’ll also have drawings for Ethiopian coffee and tea — and updates about Saba’s work in Ethiopia.
Also, Numotion will offer wheelchair maintenance between 9 – 11 a.m., and Turnstone will teach participants how to play boccia from 10 a.m. to noon.
