Agape Mobility Ethiopia invites your church, business, or organization to host a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony — a rich and ancient cultural tradition centered on hospitality, conversation, and community.
This unique experience brings people together while raising critical support to provide pediatric wheelchairs to children in Ethiopia — kids who are left crawling on the ground, isolated from community life. Will you help us lift them up?
Why Host a Coffee Ceremony?
Each Coffee & Community gathering offers:
- A deeply authentic and memorable cultural experience, led by AME Founder Saba Marcos in traditional Ethiopian dress
- A stimulating sensory experience: see and smell the aroma of raw coffee beans roasting; taste fresh-brewed coffee prepared the ancient Ethiopian way; try traditional Ethiopian snacks served with coffee; hear stories and music from this ancient Ethiopian culture
- A time of fellowship and storytelling
- Insight into and an invitation to join our mission to bring mobility and dignity to those in need
- The opportunity to sponsor a child’s wheelchair with a suggested donation of $375 or more — the cost to provide one pediatric wheelchair.

When you give $375, you’re not just donating a chair—you’re giving a child the chance to go to school, be part of their community, and live with dignity. Every coffee ceremony can change a life (or two or three!) in Ethiopia.
What to Expect:
- A 60–90 minute hosted event with traditional roasting, grinding, and serving of Ethiopian coffee
- Cultural storytelling and prayer
- Traditional snacks (popcorn, dabo bread, kolo roasted grain)
- Printed materials and QR codes for easy giving
- Optional small gifts for donors (like Ethiopian coffee samples)
Space is limited to small groups (8–10 people) for a warm, personal experience.
Location to be determined – coffee roasting needs to take place in a well-ventilated space or outdoors. We will work with you to determine the best location.
