Saba was driving through Addis Ababa one day when, by chance, she happened on Ali. He’d had development problems with his legs from the time he was born, which left him in a constant kneeling position.

His legs were terribly dirty, and the constant pressure on his knees and shins was becoming a problem.

Saba, driving past, could not help but stop to help. She happened to have a chair in the back of her van – which immediately became Ali’s chair.

Through your generosity and support, Ali has been given the gift of mobility, and the bright yellow chair Ali uses has given him a new lease on life.
